Happy Incarnation Season 2016

Happy Incarnation season!

How amazing that the King of Kings became a baby. We here at LDM are praying that you and your family can remain focused on Him during this busy season.

A few years ago, I wrote a list called “Then and Now” as an encouragement for those who were working to find healing from their past. It had two columns – one for the “then,” meaning while I, myself, was still shattered by my own past, and one for the “now,” in other words how my life changed as the Lord healed me emotionally and spiritually.

Those who are shattered who have found healing through using some of our resources have their own “Then and Now” lists. I thought I would share some of these “now” statements as a matter of thanksgiving to the only One who can rebuild a life.

  • I am learning to rest in the Good Shepherd’s arms which have given me peace that I’ve never known.
  • I am also trying to have a daily quiet time with the Good Shepherd.
  • I want to learn more about God and His characteristics so that I will be able to know what is truth and what isn’t.

One of the differences between those who come out of the wilderness running and those who come out of the wilderness limping is that those who come out running have been able to make the truth of the Word central in their lives.

I personally want to thank those of you who this year have made it possible for us to train people who have helped those coming out of the wilderness.  Your partnership through prayer and funding makes me say as Paul did, “I thank God at every remembrance of you.”

Christ is Victor!
