Team Building is the cure for getting overwhelmed in ministry.

How to Be a Barnabas

To watch the first video, please click on image

How to Be a Barnabas  will help you develop discipleship skills through studying the life of Barnabas who was called the “Son of Encouragement.”  It will equip you to be an encourager, appropriately helping the wounded people to move forward in a deeper relationship with God, the only one who can heal them and meet all of their needs.

How to Be a Barnabas Complete Training Course includes eight 45-minute video workshops taught by Dr. Alaine Pakkala, a Training Manual and a Discipleship Manual.  The workshops are available on DVD or you can watch online.  After your purchase, please allow two days to be set up with an account on our training website: https://lydiadm.vids.io.  If you want an idea of what the Barnabas course is like, you may watch the first workshop by clicking here or on the image to the right.

How to Be a Barnabas  is designed as a stand-alone leaders’ curriculum suitable for training ministry leaders, small group leaders, prayer partners, Bible study leaders and friends or family walking with a hurting person. How to Be a Barnabas is recommended as a prerequisite for training leaders who will participate in the R&R (Renewing and Rebuilding) Discipleship Program, usually offered in a church setting.

R&R Discipleship Program

R&R (Rebuilding & Renewing) Discipleship Program describes how to develop a program to minister to hurting people in your church. It is a year-long discipleship program for people who have experienced various traumas: sexual abuse, abandonment issues, dissociative issues and addictions. The organizational manual outlines and provides step-by-step guidance to develop a class for these dear people. It helps you to think through needs, to build a team and to define ministry curriculum.  It includes teaching outlines and additional resources.

The goal of the program is to encourage people to grow spiritually towards maturity through knowing and choosing

truth.    The focus of the discipleship program is three-fold:

Clearing the way to God the Father

Teaching skills to access the Word of God

Teaching people how to be spiritually aggressive
